Proceeds from each special event ticket sold for the Giants/Cubs game on Saturday will be donated to San Francisco Pride. The Giants' home jersey will feature a SF patch. Pride Month hats and jerseys will be worn Saturday, June 5, when the Giants play the Chicago Cubs at Oracle Park. Those eleven colours are “red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for serenity, purple for spirity, black and brown to recognize LGBTQ+ people of colour, and light blue, pink and white to recognize people who are transgender.” The San Francisco Giants announced on Tuesday they will become the first MLB team to incorporate Pride Month colors for their on-field hats and jerseys to honor the LGBTQ+ community.

“The 11 colours of the new Pride logo are emblematic of the Progress Pride Flag and signify inclusion and progression with the six pride colours”, reads the team’s statement. The cap’s crown remains black, both the pill on the top and the New Era logo remain orange, the MLB logo on the back also appears in the standard black/white/orange colourway. The logo shows the team’s familiar interlocked “SF” logo recoloured to feature the eleven colours of the Progress Pride Flag, the colours appear as horizontal stripes running from the top of the logo to the bottom. San Francisco will wear the pride colours both on the SF logo on the front of the team’s cap as well as on a “SF” logo patch worn on their jersey sleeve. Display your pride in more than just the Cubbies with this royal blue rainbow logo hat from Clark Street Sports for both the ballpark and the Boystown.
